Nepal has banned all Indian notes above the denomination of Rs 100. The move would impact Indian visitors planning a trip to Nepal and Nepalese citizens working in India as they will no longer be able to use Indian currency notes of Rs 2,000, Rs 500 and Rs 200 denominations. The gcountry has asked people to refrain from using these notes as it has not legalised them.
